The characters have just been through a harrowing series of experiences in these recent 85K words. I am so excited to be writing this part of the book.

While my characters have been in a hard part of their journey, I have as well. My full-time job is changing and evolving as I move to another team. This has consumed most of my time and energy as I meet and partner with a host of new folks.

I am in the aftermath of the eight chapter roller-coaster ride. This will set up the next part of the book where things get darker and harder.

Harder?

Oh yes. Much harder.

I cannot believe almost 60-percent of the first draft is complete. Here’s to the next milestone around the corner–moving from 85K words and pushing for 100k!
